英国发现“智商基因”可增进智力

以前,科学家相信人类智商有75%是天生遗传的,剩下的25%由教育或朋友等外在环境影响。不过现在科学家发现了控制智商的两条基因,未来有可能研究出增进脑力、甚至治好智力受损的方法。
英国帝国理工学院的科学家发现了能够决定人类智商的基因序列,他们用足球队来比喻这两条基因,当所有球员都各就各位时,系统就能良好运作,可以让思路敏捷;但是当这两条基因排序出了问题或是发生突变,就会造成迟钝、甚至严重认知障碍。
这两条基因群是研究人员在检查癫痫患者的大脑时发现的,分别被称为 M1 和 M3,每个基因群都由数百个个体基因组成。它们会影响我们的认知功能,包括记忆力、注意力、处理速度和推理能力等等。
研究人员强森表示:“我们希望这种分析结果能够为癫痫等神经发育疾病患者提供新的治疗方法,并改善相关的认知障碍。我们的研究显示,这两个基因群或许真的能够改变人们的智商,但是仍须很大程度的努力及研究。”
